I know it has been awhile since I have had something to say, yeah right.  Have you seen this show?

The Taste on ABC, has really given me something to look forward to on Tuesday night..  What a better way to judge food then to just taste it. Come on it works for The Voice, so it makes perfect sense to apply it food.  There are four judges who are brought a spoon (taste) of the contestant's food.  They judge what they are eating, without knowing what it is or who has cooked it.  The contestants range from mom's to professional chiefs.

The are four judges, Anthony Bourdain, Brian Malarkey,  Nigella Lawson, and Ludo Lefebvre.  I have heard of 3 of them, sorry Nigella I guess the celebrity chief world is still filled with more men the women.  My favorite is Malarkey, you might remember him from season 3 of Top Chief.  You want to hate his Willy Wonka attitude, but you can't.  He is the one judge on the show that you can understand what he is saying about the contestants.

If you have missed the elimination rounds, don't worry those where actually a little boring.  Now that the cooking has begin things are worth watching.  Each judge has chosen a team of contestants which brings the judges into the kitchen.  However, in the elimination rounds the real twist the judge still does not know whose dish is whose so they could be vote off their own team member.

I love a good cooking show, this one is not as loud or crazy as some others.  Give it some time, as the contestants lessen I think more personalities will emerge and the real show will begin. check out the latest eposides on ABC ( http://abc.tv/Z3jimp).
